All Registry subject files are closed to scholars for 30 years from the date of creation as a condition of transfer to the University Archives. Additionally, files containing personal information are closed to scholars for 80 years from the date of creation, under data protection legislation. Closures are indicated in the catalogue entry for each affected file.
