Plan of the Royal Observatory Greenwich 1846, 1846
Scope and Contents
A large colour hanging plan, on paper lined with cloth attached to wooden hang-rails on each end, titled 'Plan of the buildings and grounds of the Royal Observatory Greenwich, December 1846, made under the superintendence of G.B. Airy, Astronomer Royal.' Scale: 1 inch: 10 feet. Traces of green stitching framing the edge of the plan remain along the lower side edges.
