Scope and Contents
Drawings and plans of Royal Observatory buildings at Greenwich and technical drawings of instruments there. Notable are the 18th century engravings by Ca. Campbell, watercolours of Flamsteed House and the Octagon Room by John Evelagh, and drawings of new buildings and instruments from the time of George Airy, including the Transit Circle, Altazimuth and New Equatorial Telescope and Dome, many of which are heavily annotated with notes by Airy.
