Papers belonging to M. Dermody while working at Kottamia Observatory, Egypt. Includes: a report on difficulties with the 74" Telescope in Kottamia (August 1965); reports and agreement concerning negotiations with Egypt for UK astronomers to use the 74 inch telescope at Kottamia for 100 nights per year (1976); a working diary detailing Dermody's activities at Kottamia from 16 March to 12 April 1966 including notes on a visit to Helwan Observatory; and a pamphlet in French titled, 'Les recherches scientifiques en Egypte' (July 1973).
