Group of officers, 1890
Scope and Contents
Showing a group of pioneer officers posed in front of the wagon behind which a flag (probably the BSA Co. flag, a Union flag in the centre of which stands a lion guardant passant holding a tusk of ivory) flies on a pole. The figures are too indistinct for positive identification, but Heany, Pennefather, Johnson and Selous can be made out. Photograph probably taken at Macloutsie camp, June 1890.
