Mambalangwe, women fishing with baskets, 1945
Scope and Contents
A collection of numbered prints, unless otherwise stated measuring circa 210 x 160 mm, in a 19 page typescript volume entitled 'Barotseland', written and illustrated by Max Gluckman. His typescript is undated but the illustrations closely resemble, and in some cases are identical with, those used in Gluckman (1945) of which a photocopy is filed with this collection. It is not known how these photographs were used - perhaps projected by epidiascope.
