Scope and Contents
This section appears to be pre-Dissolution legal documents stored by the Cathedral. It includes cartularies and surveys detailing land, property and rights belonging to the Abbey as well as documents relating to legal disputes.
There are also hundreds of title deeds, grants and charters concerning land owned by the Abbey and Bishop and third parties.
