Plaskett of the introduction of the report; a letter from Redman to W.M.H. Greaves, 9 April 1955, regarding the revised estimates for the European Southern Observatory, as given at the Paris meeting; a letter from Redman to D.C. Martin, 28 April 1955, containing an abstract of Memorandum B for the National Committee for Astronomy; and a copy of a letter from T.G. Cowling to Martin, 13 May 1955, regarding the memorandum for the committee.
