Card from Lily in Paris to L S B in the Isle of Wight 4 October 1870 urging her not to worry - there is no injury, no deprivation etc;
Lily to her sister-in-law Bessie (née Belloc) 8 and 15 Feb 1871 with family news and events in Paris (the letter of 8 February 1871 begins by talking at length of the ‘officier blond qui a donné sa vie au bonheur des autres’, 4pp, incomplete);
Lily to L S B 10 April 1871 ‘De chez les soeurs de la Celle St Cloud’;
L S B to ‘Ma chère Madame et excellent amie’ [Mary Mohl?], from Richmond 21 December;
L S B to ‘ma chère aimée', from Richmond 12 January 1871;
note / diary page [in L S B’s hand?] dated September 187[3?] noting that her memory is failing and she no longer has the heart to write of the things she used to, because of the loss of her papers in the Franco-Prussian War - ‘A quoi bon?’.
