Letters from Hurrion Rushmer to Hilda Gosling: File 1, 1918-06 - 1918-12

 File
Reference Code: GBR/0271/GCPP Sebastian 1/3/1

Scope and Contents

From the Series:

These letters record a close and loving friendship and the sharing of many common interests including tennis, theatre and mutual friends. It appears that Hilda always considered marriage to Hurrion an unlikely prospect and the letters appear to have ceased after Hilda's marriage to John Gardner in 1921, but the the friendship was extended to Hilda's husband and daughter and appears to have lasted for many years.
