‘French Family deeds - La Rochelle Chassériau family’, 1654 - 1850
Scope and Contents
File contains the following:
1. 14 page document giving details of births and deaths of various members of the de Salagnac and du Saillant families in the latter half of the 16th century (circa 1554 - circa 1577), including details relating to some wills and inventories. No date found but the document was probably compiled mid-19th century;
2. Deed dated 4 April 1654 drawn up in La Rochelle, the parties to which appear to be Leschange, Desbordin and D'Asnon;
3. Marriage document relating to Henri Chassériau and Mlle Marie Marguerite LeRedder 1733, La Rochelle;
4. Deed relating to Mathurin Chassériau and Margueritte Saillard, 1735?
5. Deed relating to the interest of Jean Chassériau, négociant, in a house in the parish of St Barthélemy, La Rochelle, formerly belonging to his deceased mother, Margueritte Duchiron, 1759;
6. Financial bond relating to a Mathurin Chassériau [1760?];
7. Deed of sale [of a property?] from Monsieur de Carbon to Mr Chassériau, 1760, La Rochelle;
8. Deed concerning a trusteeship / guardianship relating to a minor by the name of Chassériau in La Rochelle, 1785.
