Scope and Contents
File containing six page typescript copy of an article by Louise Swanton Belloc concerning an account of the last feelings of a man condemned to death. The article was published in Le Globe in 1827 or 1828. It is accompanied by a typescript copy of a related letter written by L S B in 1844.
The file also contains typescript copies of letters concerning L S B’s writing and translation work, 1824-57: addressees include Monsieur A Eymery, Monsieur Jullien Père, Monsieur Lucas de Montigny, Monsieur Mahérault, Monsieur Ferdinand Denis, and Monsieur and Madame Schunck.
The file also contains a 3 page typescript bibliography of the work of L S B, 1818-35, extracted from La Bibliographie de la Littérature Française.
