Biographical / Historical
Madame Mary Mohl, née Clarke, 1793-1883, conversationalist, held a salon in Paris for nearly 40 years and numbered many English people amongst her friends. She wrote ‘Madame Ricamier, with a Sketch of the History of Society in France’ (London, 1862).
