Bessie has been to see Lady Tartuffe with Mat[ilda Hays]. She is going to Paris soon with her parents. She mentions Miss [Charlotte] Cushman, who has ‘come home’. She describes a visit to Miss Eden, daughter of Lord Auckland, at Eden Lodge, Kensington, in particular the garden. She also describes a ‘Miss Blagdon’ [? Isa Blagden, 1816-73, novelist and poet]. She will have The Leader sent to Barbara. Two pages.
