Scope and Contents
Originally numbered 'Vol X'. This volume is inscribed ‘Margaret S Willis, 8 Cavendish Avenue and 20 Westbourne Grove, Whittington, Manchester’ [the latter is crossed out]. It is paginated 1-113. It begins with the continued description of the family holiday in Spain April 1927. M W returns to Manchester on 26 April; she takes various camping trips in the summer and early autumn of 1927; she takes up her post as a demonstrator in the Geography Department of the University of Cambridge in January 1928; in April and May 1928 she accompanies student geography trips to the Lakes and High Force with J A Steers; in August 1928 she takes a walking tour in Scotland; another family holiday in Spain takes place in March and April 1929; she accompanies CU geography trips to Norfolk in May 1929; and a trip to Switzerland takes place in August 1929.
