The album is inscribed inside 'ACWT d. d. HJWT Dec 1950': it appears to have been put together retrospectively by Aelfrida Tillyard as a gift for her brother Julius. Many of the photographs are replicated elsewhere in her archives. It comprises sepia and black and white snapshots pasted into the album, many but not all with captions in AT's hand.
