Scope and Contents
The volume is three quarters blank, covering only late March and early April 1907. Again, F S is sent home regularly from work because of illness, in particular a 'bad and persistent headache'. Her sister Margaret [Gretchen] is visiting. F S attends confession with Mr Rogers on March 27. Returning home to Preston on March 28, illness continues. The last entry reads 'Woke up with a slight pain but didn't think anything much of it, so got up as usual.' 'I felt really bad when I got in - - - had to retire to my bed again & there I stayed the rest of the day.' Loose in volume: 'My Lent Rule 1907', a printed form with sections filled in by hand relating to fasting, praying, Bible reading etc.
