Sample tube, 1936
Scope and Contents
Metal cylindrical case containing a glass tube with one end broken. The tube is labelled 'Deuterium oxyd., 10 Gr. 99² 8/100g D2O' from Norsk Hydro-Elektrisk Kvaelstofaktieselskab. One end of the metal case is decorated with an engraving of a longboat. [Presumably this is a tube in which a chemical sample had been provided for Helen Megaw's work.]
