Scope and Contents

1) Three photographs of Phillips Mill, the home of Julian Lathrop, 1993, including a photograph of the attic where the correspondence between Julian Lathrop and Elspeth Giles came to light;
2) Four photographs of Elspeth Giles’ grave in Cherry Hinton churchyard;
3) Photograph of a painting by Julian Lathrop’s father (William Langson Lathrop), which was sent to Elspeth Giles by Julian Lathrop.

The collection was closed until 31 December 2018, at the request of the donors. The only exception was GCPP Giles 3/1 which was closed until 31 December 2020.
