Immediate Source of Acquisition
Originally in a brown paper wrapped bundle with Palace and Prison and the proofs of both plays. Fair Geraldine was placed second in the bundle.

DateText: Published in 1880, possibly written earlier. The poem is on watermarked paper, 'C Ansell 1876'. The title page is marked in pencil 29.4.80 which is possibly the date it was sent to the publisher.
