These files contain correspondence between the Society and various London accounting companies (successively Miss L M Harris of Homersham & Co; L M Harris & Co Ltd; Yeatman, Melbourn & Co; Wright King & Co; and Hemsley Miller & Co), chiefly concerning the following: compilation of the annual accounts; appointment of auditors; administration of various loan funds; income tax; and payment of professional fees.
