Correspondence between Miss Edith Hare of the SPTW with the Valdar Publicity Service Ltd of Fleet Street, London, concerning work by the latter for an appeal for the SPTW; related appeal literature produced by Valdar, including a pamphlet entitled ‘Saving Educated Girls from Unemployment’; and correspondence with various organisations relating to donations made as a result of this appeal, 1929-31;
Other appeals and donations correspondence, 1923-1960, including correspondence concerning a 1920s appeal to the City of London livery companies and to the City and Guilds of London Institute; the Women’s Employment Federation’s BBC Appeal of March 1938; and a 1959 centenary appeal leaflet.
