Some entries are coded to indicate the fund from which loans were made: there is a key to the codes on the flyleaf - C = Civil Service; K = King George’s Jubilee Trust; L = L & National Society for Women’s Service; W = Women’s Employment Federation. The flyleaf is also inscribed ‘Individual Loanees Ledger B Starting page 103 October 1956’

It was later used to record loans from the Society for Promoting the Training of Women.]
