Scope and Contents
The file contains the following:
i) 6 page typescript tribute to Gertrude King [secretary to the Society for 50 years, who died in 1928 at the age of 98];
ii) Letter suggesting the establishment of a Gertrude King Memorial Loan Fund, 1929;
iii) Letter from Constance Hoster offering a free scholarship in the form a course of secretarial training at her college, to be known as the ‘Gertrude King scholarship’, 1929.
