Scope and Contents
Correspondence between the Society and de Zoete and Gorton (later de Zoete & Bevan / Barclays de Zoete Wedd) concerning advice and recommendations relating to investment of the Society's funds, together with related papers.
[From 1913-61 the Society’s bankers, Coutts & Co, had acted as Custodian-Trustees to the Society, advised on investments and bought and sold stocks for the Society: de Zoete & Gorton were then invited to act as the Society’s stockbrokers in 1961.]
