File contains correspondence between the Society for Promoting the Employment of Women, Coutts & Co, and the National Co-operative People’s Bank Ltd concerning the Society’s shareholding in the NCPBL, 1925.
Also: copy minutes of the committee of the Caroline Ashurst Biggs Memorial Loan Fund, the Managing Committee, and the General Committee,1899-1901, relating to the following: the possibility of loans to the Society from the People’s Co-operative Bank Ltd; the possibility of representation of the Society on the committee of the bank if a certain number of shares were to be taken up by the Society; and a record of shares taken out by various members of the Society for the benefit of candidates for loans from the Society.
