Scope and Contents
Comprises:
An Act for making the River Cham, alias Grant, in the County of Cambridge more navigable from Clay-Hithe-Ferry, to the Queen's-Mill, in the University and Town of Cambridge (1 Anne, 1702) and
An Act for extending and amending an Act of Queen Anne 'for making the River Cham more naviagable, from Clayhithe Ferry to the Queen's Mill, in the County of Cambridge' (42 George III); royal assebt 21 July 1813.
Between these is bound a single sheet being An account of the tolls payable on the River Cham, otherwise Grant, by several Orders of the Conservators; dated July 18, 1799; - August 1, 1803; and July 14, 1807.
The first item was printed at the University Press in both 1763 and 1804; this is probably the 1804 printing. The second item was printed by James Smith, University Printer, on an inferior paper stock, probably in 1813 or 1814.
