The land, which John inherited from Anne Pettit, spinster and heir of her father Giles Pettit, comprises the orchard (between a tenement in the occupation of Richard Sheirewood, miller (S) and one in the occupation of Joan Tylor, widow (N), and abutting on the common street (W) and a common lane (E); part of a close of pasture (½ an acre) next to the croft of Joan Taylor (N), the other part of the close (S), and abutting on the common lane (W) and Banworth Field (E); and a rood of meadow in Frith Fen.
