Scope and Contents
The lease takes into account the arrangements for gravel extraction. Endorsed: 'The College to pay the Parishioners 4 Guineas per ann. for their gravel pit close of 2-0-11 from the time they give the College notice of their Ceasing to dig gravel & give up the occupation to the College for 21 Years.'
Attached is an account of the proposed lease, describing the land (21 acres, and 16 poles) and the conditions on which it is to be leased; tenant to provide drainage tunnel under the road, etc.
