Scope and Contents
The tenement is now defined as lying between a college tenement in the tenure of Mrs Raye, widow, W., and the tenement sometime in the occupation of Hilary Cluxton (Cluckstone) and now joined to the college tenement called the Eagle and Child in the tenure of Andrew Pilkington, E. Provisions for water as in 171 above.
With copy of Barber's bond in 20 marks to perform covenants and annotation to the effect that the lease was alienated to Thomas Bromfield of London in 1594 [actually 1595].
