Scope and Contents
The property is defined as 'a tenement with a plot of ground together with the tennis court thereunto adjoining with all other houses, walls, fences, pavings, and all manner appurtenances thereunto belonging . . . Now in the tenure and occupation of the said Toby Wood, which said tenement and plot of ground adjoineth upon the orchard of the said college on the west side, and containeth on the north side from the east to the west adjoining upon the Ostle yard 48 foot of the standard, and on the south side from from the east to the west adjoining on the churchyard of St Botolph's aforesaid it containeth 39 foot and a half and some inches: the east head abutteth upon the orchard wall of the said college and containeth from the north to the south fivty-seven foot of the said standard; and the west head adjoineth partly on the said college lodge and partly on the aforesaid churchyard and containeth 46 foot of the standard'.
Woods is bound in £5 to surrender the lease if need arises on payment of £20.
