The property was leased by CCC to John Whalley of St Ives on 22 Mar. 1659 for 40 years for an annual rent of 30s and one fat turkey; the lease was inherited by his nephew, John Whalley of Warboys who sold the remaining term to Elizabeth Wingfield, now deceased, on 24 Oct. 1665 for £140.
