Scope and Contents
The tenement and shop measure 92 feet from E. to W. and 20 feet from N. to S. The garden plot is 40 feet within the walls from E. to W. and 13 feet 6 inches from N. to S. They lie between a tenement of Thomas Bradshaw, N., and University Street, S., and abut E. on High Ward Street and W. on a garden plot of Thomas Bradshaw. Covenants as to glasing and paving.
Note of Legate's bond in 20 marks to perform covenants and annotation to the effect that the lease was granted on surrender of an old lease still current (in esse) of 16 years [not found] ; fine £13 6s 8d and Bibles to the fellows.
