Rediit and Exiit book, 1845 - 1860
Scope and Contents
Volumes recording absences during term time. Exiit and rediit records are recorded in tables drawn into the book that included name, rediit, and exiiit. When students left or arrived without officially letting the college know it is noted. The term name and year are written at the top of each page. The page that marks a new term records the dates upon which the term begins, the halfway point of the term is reached and the end of term. It also lists the number of days in the full term and number of days that make up the major part of the term. A number of the Deans who used this book to monitor the exiit and rediit records signed off the tables at the end of each turn, including Reverend J. Pulling, Reverend J Fenwick, Reverend W. Emery, Reverend E.H. Perowne, and Reverend T.T. Perowne.
Within the book there is a small slip of paper Signed by TT Perowne reading "Corpus Christi College 16th Nov. 1860. The following attendees are requested to call upon the Dean at 12O'clock to-day Tanner, Lewis, James T.T. Perowne Dean"
