Volumes recording absences during term time, with exiits recorded on the left page and rediits on the right, and the occasional page where the positions are reversed with rediits on the left and exiits on the right. Absences are recorded using signatures, with the month and day written next to them and the year written at the top of each page. Volume is a working copy with a number of entries crossed out or corrected.
