Biographical / Historical

John Meurig Thomas is a scientist known for his work on heterogenous catalysis, solid-state chemistry, and materials science.
In 1978 he was Head of the Department of Physical Chemistry at the University of Cambridge. While in Cambridge he was a Professorial Fellow at King's College. He was also Master of Peterhouse from 1993 until 2002.
