Biographical / Historical
Roy Porter is a historian who focused on the history of medicine
He studied history at Christ's College, Cambridge, where he later became a junior Fellow in 1968. In 1972 he became the Director of Studies in History. In 1977 became Dean, at Churchill College, Cambridge and he was also appointed Lecturer in European History at Cambridge University.
