Biographical / Historical
Since 2007 ACT have been partnering on an exciting LINK with the Princess Marina Hospital in Gaborone which is Botswana’s largest referral hospital and the main teaching hospital for the country’s only medical school.
Botswana is in southern Africa. While it has one of the world's highest known rates of HIV/AIDS infection it also has progressive and comprehensive programmes for dealing with the disease. Its wider healthcare system is well established, enabling it to maximise the benefits that partnering can bring.
