Scope and Contents
The box is largely empty and so may have originally contained other papers catalogued elsewhere in the Kenny collection. The box has a handwritten note attached about his time as pastor at Northgate-end Chapel in Halifax from 1769 and includes a printed sermon delivered on his death in 1795 by William Wood 'to the Congregation of Protestant Dissenters in Northgate Halifax on the death of their late Pastor'.
