 Item
Reference Code: GBR/0269/DCPP/GUTH/7/1/1

Scope and Contents

He had attended the service at St Columba's and been visited by the rowing secretary, who persuaded him to try rowing. He had joined the Cambridge Union - K. Lyle, the elder brother, had introduced him - and he had also met Eric Lyle for a walk. Another friend from school - Pascall - was also at Trinity, a 'huge fellow in plus fours and a moustache.' He asks his father if he can open an account with the grocer, as the bedder has told him butter and sugar etc are more expensive from the College Buttery. With envelope.
