ASSIGNMENT OF MORTGAGE BY DEMISE FOR 700 YEARS for £50, at request of 2. of piece of land with a barn built on it, containing c. 1 1/2 roods, in p. All Saints, Dunwich, lying between kings highway to south, close formerly Charles Birks to north, and abutting kings highway and said close to east and west; plus several parcels of land, meadow, marsh and pasture with appurtenances, containing together c. 7 acres, lying in p. All Saints, Dunwich, abutting as follows:
one piece of marsh or pasture abutting the marsh ground formerly of Thomas Cooper to west and the churchlands towards east, upon lands formerly of John Harrison to south and common water banks to north; one other part of the land called the fresh fenn, abutting upon land lately Richard Arnold's to east and meadow late of Thomas Mayear to west, abutting upon common water bank to north and lands of John Harrison to south; also one parcel of land lying between the churchlands on east and lands formerly of Thomas Mayear towards kings highway towards south, and upon lands late of Michael Cooper to north; all which said lands and premises are now in occupation of Philip Ead, Gent.

Endorsed 22 Oct 1701 with receipt of 2 years interest being £6 aid by Thomas Goodall to use of Martha Jay;
endorsed 11 July 1706 with receipt of principal money of £65.15.0 paid by Thomas Ingham of Theberton to use of Martha Jay and promise of assignment of mortgage to him.
