ASSIGNMENT TO ATTEND THE INHERITANCE of residue of term of 1000 years re messuage or tenement with appurtenances in Dunwich, p. All Saints, between king's highway on south, the house and curtilage late Julian Morrys's and the curtilage late Thomas Halliday's on north, abutting upon highway towards east and common way towards west; and also close of land in Dunwich of c. 2 1/2 acres, p. All Saints; piece of land of c. 1 acre in p. All Saints; messuage or tenement now wasted in p. St John the Baptist; one piece of land late of Roger Crisp in length 40 yards and in breadth at west end 12 yards, p. All Saints. [Boundaries given for each]
Consideration: Lease and release of even date and 5 s.
Robert Clarke, at request of George Downing and Thomas Bethell the uncle assigns to Thomas Bethell the nephew, in trust for the uncle, to attend the inheritance vested in him.
Recites mortgage of 5 Aug 1699, and assignment of 4 Aug 1709, and indenture of lease and release between George Downing, Robert Buxton and Thomas Bethell whereby freehold and inheritance of said premises became vested in Thomas Bethell.
