Copy of DEED TO LEAD THE USES OF A FINE
Property: messuage in Southwould [Southwold], Suffolk, late in tenure of John Archer; messuage in Southwould late in tenure of Samuel Fisher; inclosure of land, meadows or pasture lying in Southwould, with barn, commonly called Barne Close, containing c. 2 acres, late in tenure of Enoch Girling, all which said premises now in tenure of John Skipp, Richard Lamb, Sarah Girling, widow, Joseph Ireland; and also all messuages, lands and tenements late of John Benefice, Gent., situate in Easton Bavent [Easton?], Suffolk, late in tenure of Thomas Mafrey and now in tenure of Robert Nuthall; and also all messuages or tenements and cottages in Dunwich with all outhouses and appurtenances etc, now in several tenures of Samuel Moore, Hugh Symond and Heasell, widow; and also two pieces of fenns, marshes and pasture in Westleton, Suffolk, between lands late of Robert Luscoe to east and lands late of Richard Gilder to west, one head abutting Footmeere Street on north and other head abutting common river on south, containing c. 5 acres; and piece of fenne marsh or pasture in Westleton between lands late of Henry Sparhawke, Gent., on east, and church lands of Dunwich on west, one head abutting common river to north and other abutting a way leading from Wood Street in Westleton towards Dunwich Bridge on south, now in tenure of Robert Beart; and also all other messuages, lands and tenements which the said Elizabeth Harcock lately inherited as the only child of and heir of the said John Benefice, lying in Southwould, Easton Bavent, Dunwich and Westleton; and also those inclosures of marsh ground, one piece called Broom Hill of c. 8 acres, lying in Haslewood [?], Suffolk, abutting land late Richard Gardner's, Gent., on east, and upon the common of Haslewood to west, and upon the other lands late of said Richard Gardner to north and south, now in tenure of John Mallett; and also all other lands and easements which Alice Norton had as heir of Elizabeth, daughter if Elizabeth Lyall, who was Elizabeth Burwood, which were sold to Thomas Marshland the Younger, late of Aldringham or Thorpe, Suffolk, yeoman.
