Endorsed: 'Release from Sir George Downing, and George Downing his son to Samuell Percivall and John Fisher and their Heirs, of all the estate now of Sir George Downing in the countyes of Cambridge, Bedford, Suffolke, Huntington and Norfolke, being the deed of settlement made upon the marryage of the said George Downing the son with the Lady Katherine Cecill'
Appended with copy of agreement to produce the deed of settlement; made between Sir George Downing the grandson and William Earl Cowper and his heirs to whom 'Sir George Downing [grandfather] hath by indenture bearing even date herewith conveyed in Mortgage severall of the Mannors, lands and hereditaments mentioned in the Deed of Settlement above copyed for securing the sum of £5000' 15 June 1721
