Includes: single sheet passport for Wherry, aged 61, 'a British Born subject travelling on the Continent', issued by the British Envoy to the Swiss Confederation, 4 August 1914; notes for speech given to Alpine Club in 1912 with hand-written notes and amendments; British Association of Members of the Swiss Alpine Club membership card with photograph of Wherry, 1926; postcards; diary entries; poem about climbing - 'A snow slope is a dangerous place...', 5 April 1926, apparently signed by someone other than Wherry (illeg.); poem about growing old (by Wherry?) - "Eheu Fugaces, Posthume, Posthume" Ad Fratem Medicum, Di Morbo 1885, From Flaceus the Epicurean and his unworthy chirurgeon to Fowler the Physician.
