The parts comprise compressor casing; compressor intake assembly; thrust bearing housing; diffuser blades; turbine nozzle ring; set of turbine rotor blades; sets of air cooling blades with stubshaft; exhaust assembly; 'certain extra small components for the main and thrust bearing housing details'; tail shaft and adaptor ring. All of these are of new design and a complete schedule with drawings will be supplied in a day or two.
It is hoped that the W1A will be completed in time for the first flight tests so that the difficulties of water cooling may be avoided.
There follows a list of spares from the W1 and W2 to be used in the engine: auxiliary drives complete (W1 with water pump removed); compressor impeller (W1); stubshaft (W1 modified); quill shaft (W1 modified); compressor discharge pipes (W1); combustion chamber assembly complete with flame tubes, etc. (W1); main bearing housing (W2); main bearing housing details (mainly W2); thrust bearing housing details (mainly W2); front and rear spider brackets (W2).
