Scope and Contents
He has read with interest the copy of HNS's letter to Lancelot Law Whyte (10 above) and concurs with it. 'If [Whyte] takes up with me the question of waiving our rights or any other point arising out of your letter, I will follow the same course which you have done in your letter.' He has also alerted Sir Felix Pole. Suggests getting in touch with Air Marshal Tedder to find out at first hand the Air Ministry's views, suspecting that LLW was attributing to them views not really held by them. 'I agree with what you say in your longhand note to the effect that if we do decide to postpone our rights it would be better to do so in negotiations with the Air Ministry, or at any rate that they should be in the negotiations which would result in our waiving the rights under the agreement which which have with Power Jets Ltd.'
