Payment in Lent Term 1844 of 3s for breaking ice; in Lent Term 1856 and thereafter for coxwains, from Lent Term 1857 to lads for holding and for steering boat, for firing pistols
Regular payments for new boats, hire of boats, washing towels, subscription to University Boat Club, boatmen (e.g. Logan) and his men for rowing and steering.
