Thanking Sassoon for sending a copy of his poems ['The Heart's Journey']; regarding the preparation of a specimen page for publication; (originally) providing lists of newspapers to submit copies to, and giving praise for the book - 'It is true that the book is small but ... it is of rare quality'.

A collection of 1094 letters, postcards and other items known as 'Sassoon's residual correspondence' although it does also include a number of items addressed to other persons particularly to his wife, Hester, and his mother, Theresa Thornycroft.
