Translation from the original (held in Bodleian Library). Also a translation into Latin of Plutarch's 'De Superstitione'. Transcribed by W. Elstob, with dedication at end of first piece to John Strype, 1702. Inside front cover on loose slip: 'A Vol. of MS omitted to be presented by Mr Baumgartner. J. J. Smith MSS. Caius Coll. Lodden Mar 21.'
